Leela Foundation is proud to host “Master Strokes 2026.” Join us for a rare opportunity to learn Kalamkari art—a folk, textile art from the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. This art is known globally for preserving the heritage through intricate textile motifs using natural colors. This rare, in-person workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to learn Kalamkari art directly from A. Thilak Reddy, a master Kalamkari artist. What’s included: All materials provided; Take home your finished artwork; Short QA session with the artist; Participation Certificate. Learn: The history and significance of Kalamkari art; Traditional Kalamkari motifs and use of natural dyes; Practice with composition, pattern, and linework; Create and take home your own Kalamkari style artwork.
