Leela Foundation is proud to host “Master Strokes 2026.” Join us for a rare opportunity to learn Kalamkari art—a folk, textile art from the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. This art is known globally for preserving the heritage through intricate textile motifs using natural colors. What’s included (~8 hours): Introduction to the history and symbolism of Kalamkari art; Hands-on painting session using traditional techniques; Learn how to create your own Kalamkari-inspired artwork; Guidance by master Kalamkari artist, A. Thilak Reddy; Q&A with the artist. All materials provided; light refreshments; no experience needed.
