Jumpstart your week with creativity! Make It Monday is a fun, hands-on STEAM program for teens. From building to artistic creations and science experiments, teens can explore, innovate, and make something awesome—every Monday!
Make It Monday is a weekly after-school program where local teenagers can participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math projects. Each session offers a different self-directed activity, ranging from building challenges to creative art projects and science experiments. This program is designed specifically for teenagers and meets in the North Meeting Room at the North Regional Library in Durham. There is no cost to attend, and all project supplies are provided by the library. Parents can park in the main library lot, which has ample free spaces, and browse the stacks while their teens work. While this takes place right at the start of the week, it is a smart addition to your calendar if you want to transition your teenager from weekend downtime back into a productive school mindset.
