Mahjong at the South Regional Library is a weekly gathering for local players to meet up and play the classic tile-based game. Located in the Adult Programming Room, this event provides a quiet, dedicated space to focus on your strategy and enjoy some friendly competition. To participate, you must already know how to play the game, as instruction is not provided. You will need to bring your own set of tiles and a current National Mahjong League card to play. The event is completely free to attend, and the library offers plenty of complimentary parking in its main lot. While this is a weekday afternoon event rather than a weekend outing, it makes a wonderful addition to your weekly routine. It offers a built-in block of personal time to recharge, socialize with other adults in the community, and sharpen your skills before the busy weekend begins.
