What is Magic Tree House Space Mission | Planetarium Show? This is an interactive dome theater presentation at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center that brings the popular children's book characters to the screen for an astronomical adventure. Before you head to Chapel Hill, keep in mind that this specific show is designed for children ages five and older. Because the theater is dark and the sound is immersive, it is best to leave very young toddlers with a sitter. This event makes an excellent Saturday morning outing because it bridges the gap between summer reading and hands-on science. It is a simple, educational way to kick off the weekend before grabbing lunch on Franklin Street.
