Kingdom Come

A new show on family, sexuality, faith, and the people you can’t leave behind. When Lena returns to Tennessee for her mother’s surgery, the familiar begins to crack open, revealing buried queer histories, old awakenings, and the relationships that made her life possible. Kingdom Come is an irreverent journey about the surprising things we discover when we look closely at home. Expect songs, movement, humor, and a cast of unforgettable characters—all played by one person. Directed by Carrboro local Lillian White and performed by Erin Amlicke.
