Lowe's Kids' Workshops and The Home Depot Kids' Workshops are both fun, in-person workshops that give kids a chance to build a simple (usually seasonal) toy or accessory. The workshops, which are free, teach kids basic building skills, as well as safety. Looking for stuff for your kids to do? The Home Depot Kids' Workshops The Home Depot's Kids' Workshops take place the first Saturday of the month, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Find details and announcements on homedepot.com/c/kids. Make sure to register! Each child can bring home their completed project, a Kids Workshop apron, an achievement pin and a certificate. Every Kids Workshop kit comes with a related STEAM activity so that kids can continue learning and playing. Registration is required. When you register you'll sign up for a time slot. The events take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If there is no space left you still might be able to come by at 12 p.m. and pick up a kit to take home.
