K-5th Adventures: This Land

K-5th Adventures: This Land is a free, hands-on history and gardening workshop for elementary schoolers at the Wake Forest Community Library. Children will explore the history of the song "This Land is Your Land" and learn how early inhabitants cared for the local environment before urbanization. The program includes a craft session where kids decorate their own pots and plant native wildflower seeds to take home. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is entirely free to attend, and all crafting supplies and seeds are provided by the library.
