K-5th Adventures: Hispanic Heritage Month is a free, hands-on cultural crafting workshop for elementary school students at the Middle Creek Community Library in Apex. Children will learn about the history and traditions of piñatas before building their own custom creations to take home. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Admission is free, but participation is limited by space and supplies. Parents must pick up a physical ticket at the library circulation desk starting at 4:00 PM on the day of the event, as spots are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces close to the entrance. This weekday afternoon activity is an easy way to ease into the weekend. It offers a structured, creative outlet right after school lets out, saving you from having to plan a messy craft project at your own kitchen table.
Tickets are free but required. You must pick them up in person at the Middle Creek Community Library circulation desk starting at 4:00 PM on the day of the event.
