K-5 Adventures: Hispanic Heritage Month/NCCBA is a free, hands-on library program that combines history and science for elementary school students. Children will listen to a reading of How to Say Goodbye in Cuban to learn about the history of Cuban refugees, then participate in a practical STEM activity where they build and test tin foil boats to explore the concept of buoyancy.
