Investing Explained is a free educational seminar designed to teach the fundamentals of financial planning and asset management. Led by Brannon Lambert of Canvasback Wealth Management, the session covers the primary types of investments, the advantages and drawbacks of each option, and strategies for making purposeful financial decisions. This workshop is designed for adults and teenagers ages 16 and up. It takes place in the meeting room at the Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex, which offers plenty of free on-site parking. Registration is requested online through the Wake County Public Libraries portal to secure your seat, and you may want to bring a notebook and pen for taking notes. Taking control of your household finances is a high priority for many parents, and this evening session offers a straightforward, pressure-free environment to learn the basics. It is also a rare chance to introduce your older teens to essential money management concepts before they head off to college or start their first jobs.
