Come in and get toasty during this seasonal, 90 minute enamel course! In this beginner friendly class, students will learn how to make their own Halloween Charm from start to finish! Students will be able to choose from various seasonal designs such as ghosts, pumpkins, cats, etc. Copper and enamel powder are included in the material fee of $15, paid directly to the instructor upon arrival. Various chains and findings will also be available for purchase, if needed. Techniques students will be learning:-How to prep your copper to be enameled-Various enamel techniques- torch vs kiln-Firing glass enamel-Finishing and polishing *Nanette’s studio has both AC + heat depending on the season! Jeweler & Instructor: Nanette PengelleyNanette is a queer, Jamaican-American metalsmith and jeweler from south Florida. She went on to study in Quito, Boston, and Florence. After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2015 with her BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing, Nanette has been exploring her practice within her brand, Hew Jewelry.
