Staying safe online is essential in today's world. Learn internet safety tips to keep yourself and your loved ones protected. Ages 16 and up. Registration requested.
Internet Safety is an educational workshop focused on protecting personal data, recognizing online scams, and securing digital devices. This session is designed for participants ages 16 and older, making it a great fit for high schoolers navigating their first personal accounts. The event is free to attend, but the library requests that you register online in advance to secure a seat. The Eva Perry Regional Library offers plenty of free parking in its main lot, and you do not need to bring anything other than a notebook if you want to take down tips. Spending an hour here on Wednesday afternoon is a smart way to tackle those necessary digital safety conversations with your teens before they head off to college or start managing their own devices independently.
