Dr. Caitlin Greenstein, PT, DPT, OCS from Beyond Physical Therapy will be leading a workshop on hypermobility at Current Wellness on December 12th at 11:30am. Caitlin has been in clinical practice as a physical therapist since 2010 and has focused her private practice on treating individuals with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD) and hypermobile Ehlers-Danilo’s Syndromes (hEDS). Who is this workshop intended for: Anyone with a diagnosis of HSD or hEDS Anyone who suspects they may have HSD or hEDS Parents of children with diagnosed or suspected HSD/hEDS What to expect: An education focused class to help the audience better understand HSD/hEDS Education on comorbidities/associated disorders/associated traits How physical therapy fits into the care team needed for this niche An open forum discussion to conclude the session Discussion topics: Describe the difference between HSD and hEDS talk through common symptoms Reference the 2017 criteria with handout or projector Discuss new criteria to be released soon!
