Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, 121 N. Churton St., Hillsborough, is owned and operated by local artists. Hillsborough Gallery of Arts represents established artists exhibiting modern and contemporary fine art and fine craft. Artworks include painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, fiber art, jewelry, blown glass, fused glass, stained glass, metals, encaustics, enamels, watercolors and wood. The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts presents “Intertwined," featuring botanical oil paintings by Chris Graebner, watermedia collage paintings by Nancy Smith and figurative needle-felted sculpture by Lynn Wartski. In the gallery July 28 through August 23, 2026. The opening reception takes place during Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk, July 31, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. During the art walk, Reishi Riot will play live music on the front patio. The show will include an artist talk by Chris Graebner, Nancy Smith and Lynn Wartski in the gallery on Saturday, August 15 at 4 p.m. Visit Hillsborough Gallery of Arts on Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday 12 to 4 p.m. Special hours during Hillsborough's Last Friday events: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Learn about
