Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, 121 N. Churton St., Hillsborough, is owned and operated by local artists. Hillsborough Gallery of Arts represents established artists exhibiting modern and contemporary fine art and fine craft. Artworks include painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, fiber art, jewelry, blown glass, fused glass, stained glass, metals, encaustics, enamels, watercolors and wood. The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts presents “Pattern Recognition," featuring mixed metal jewelry by Nell Chandler, acrylic collage landscapes by Adrienne Knowles and hand-made functional pottery by Evelyn Ward. In the gallery August 25 to September 20, 2026. The opening reception takes place during Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk, August 28, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. During the art walk, Reishi Riot will play live music on the front patio.
