The Hillsborough Classic Film Society is a group that shows classic, foreign and independent films once a month, at 2 p.m. Most screenings are at the Passmore Center, 103 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC. The Passmore Center is next to the Orange County SportsPlex. At each event, an expert speaker will set the background for the film. There is also free popcorn! The events are free to attend. Advance registration is requested. Registration is at hillsboroughclassicfilms.com (scroll down to where it says "please register here") or by calling the Passmore Center at 919-245-2015. Please sign up by 3 p.m. on Friday for one of the Sunday events. Keep up to date on events by joining Hillsborough Classic Film Society. There's no cost to join.
