Herencia 2026: Reception and Artist Talk is a free community gathering celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through a curated exhibition of North Carolina Latino artists. Hosted at the Oberlin Regional Library in partnership with the Diamante Arts and Cultural Center, this evening event features a gallery viewing, artist presentations, and a chance to chat with the creators. If you plan to attend, keep in mind that the program runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on a Wednesday evening, making it best suited for middle schoolers, teens, and adults who can engage with the artist talks. Full English and Spanish translation services are provided so everyone can participate comfortably. Parking is free in the dedicated library lot, and you do not need to register or bring tickets to attend. This event makes a wonderful mid-week outing for parents looking to connect with the local arts scene and introduce their older kids to diverse cultural perspectives right in our neighborhood library.
