For September's scavenger hunt, we've hidden pictures of 10 cats throughout the children's area of the library (in honor of Happy Cat Month)... Can you find them all?! This scavenger hunt will run from Sept. 1st through Sept. 30th! If you have questions about accessibility, program stimulation levels, and/or need disability accommodations, please contact us at (919) 560-8592.
The Happy Cat Month Scavenger Hunt at Southwest Regional is a self-guided search game where children look for ten hidden cat pictures hidden throughout the library's dedicated kids' space. This activity is completely free and requires no registration, making it easy to fit between naps or errands. It is best suited for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students who enjoy a visual challenge. The Southwest Regional Library has a large, free parking lot right out front, and you can easily combine the hunt with picking out your weekly books. It makes a solid weekend stop because it is entirely indoors, climate-controlled, and allows kids to move around and burn off some energy without any pressure or set schedule.
