Halloween Hoot Family Storytime is a special pop-up library event featuring festive stories, a trick-or-treat parade, and costume fun. What to Know: This program is entirely free to attend, and the library encourages children to wear their Halloween costumes. Because space is limited for young child programs, you must pick up free entry tickets at the Youth Services desk before the event begins. Every person in your group must be physically present in the library to receive a ticket. This is a wonderful weekday morning outing to get into the autumn spirit. It offers a structured, safe environment for toddlers and preschoolers to practice trick-or-treating and show off their costumes before the holiday.
