Join Pure Life Theatre Company, the City of Raleigh, and Seed Art Share for Hair in Concert & Spoken Word, a free community celebration featuring live music, poetry, art, and family-friendly activities. Inspired by the themes of peace, love, community, and social change from the musical Hair, the event brings together local artists, performers, nonprofit organizations, and community partners for an afternoon of creativity and connection. The event includes hands-on children's activities, spoken-word performances, and a featured concert presentation of Hair, along with opportunities for community participation through singing and dancing. Featured spoken-word artists include Dasan Ahanu, Ajani Kambon, Kamile Sabali, and Brenda Bailey.
