Downtown Garner is kicking off its outdoor concert series, Groovin' in Garner, on Friday, May 15, 2026, with Rockzilla. Groovin' in Garner takes place on the Garner Recreation Center lawn, 215 W Main Street, Garner, North Carolina, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It's free to attend. Food trucks will be on site, or you can purchase dinner from one of the Downtown Garner restaurants. Beer and wine will be availalble for purchase within the festival area, starting at 5 p.m. June 18: Jim Quick & Coastline Over 25 years in the making, Jim Quick and Coastline, like their namesake the Atlantic Coastline Railroad, have been traveling the "tracks" of the southeast and connecting with the hearts of loyal "Coastline Crazies." Pulling from the threads of Soul, Blues, R&B, and Americana, Jim Quick and Coastline weave together their own genre of music known as Swamp Soul. Delivered with precision by front man Jim Quick and his band, this group captures the true, honest spirit of traditions born and bred in the small southern towns of America.
