The Good Neighbor Initiative Community Cookout is an annual neighborhood gathering designed to build connections between long-term Chapel Hill residents and local university students. Hosted at the Hargraves Community Center, this evening event brings the local community together over shared food and outdoor recreation. If you are planning to attend, the event is entirely free of charge and open to all ages. The Hargraves Community Center features an excellent outdoor playground and open grassy areas, making it easy to keep toddlers and elementary-aged children entertained while you grab dinner.
