Step away from the stresses of daily life and into the calming embrace of nature. Led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Shawn Ramsey, this two-hour guided forest bathing experience invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with the natural world in a meaningful way. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing) and supported by growing scientific research, this experience promotes relaxation, improved mood, and enhanced well-being. As you meander through the natural areas of the JC Raulston Arboretum, you’ll be gently guided through a series of mindfulness practices and nature-based invitations designed to foster presence, curiosity, and a deeper sense of connection. This is more than a walk in the woods — restorative journey for your body, mind and spirit. Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired by the wisdom of the natural world.
