Fiesta de Arte is a free, drop-in Hispanic Heritage Month celebration where children and teens can make traditional hands-on crafts. Visitors will rotate through stations to design a Talavera-style tile, wrap a Guatemalan worry doll, and fold vibrant tissue paper flowers. This event is open to all ages, though preschoolers will need help from a parent with the fine motor skills required for the dolls and tiles. The program is entirely free, and all crafting supplies are provided by the library. Parking is available in the library's dedicated lot off New Bern Avenue, but spaces can fill up quickly on Saturday mornings. It is a smart weekend pick because it offers a creative, indoor activity that keeps kids busy without costing a dime.
