Family Storytime is a free, interactive early literacy program featuring books, music, rhymes, and movement at the Oberlin Regional Library in Raleigh. This thirty-minute session is designed for toddlers and preschoolers who are developing their pre-reading skills. Because room capacity is limited, you must pick up a free entry ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 9:30 AM on the morning of the event. The library has a dedicated parking lot, and you do not need to bring any supplies, though arriving early is essential to secure your spot. It is a reliable weekday morning outing to get the kids out of the house, burn some energy through movement, and connect with other local parents in a welcoming environment.
