Family Storytime @ Southwest Regional is a free, drop-in weekend reading program featuring interactive songs, fingerplays, and children's books. This half-hour session is designed for all ages, making it an easy option if you have both toddlers and older siblings to entertain. The program takes place in the library's meeting room, and you do not need to register in advance. If your child needs sensory accommodations or you have accessibility questions, you can call the branch ahead of time at 919-560-8592. It is a low-pressure way to get out of the house on a Saturday morning, stock up on new library books for the week, and let your kids burn off some energy during the interactive music portions.
