Family Story - Hispanic Heritage Month is an interactive library program designed to build early literacy skills through books, music, and movement. This special session celebrates Hispanic culture and language, making it a wonderful opportunity to introduce young children to new sounds and stories. This free program is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers, though all young children are welcome. The Wake Forest Community Library has a dedicated parking lot, but spots can fill up quickly close to program times, so plan to arrive ten minutes early to secure a space and find a seat. You do not need to bring any materials, just be ready to sit on the carpet and participate with your child. It is an easy, low-stress weekday outing that gets you out of the house and connects you with other local parents. Plus, you can spend time after the program browsing the children's section and checking out new books for your home rotation.
