The Durham Pride Drag Kickoff is a free late-night drag performance and dance party at Boxcar Bar and Arcade to celebrate the start of pride weekend. Hosted by D-Luca Valentine, the evening features performances by local drag artists Emory Starr, Jada J Agave, and Diamond Giovanni, alongside a live DJ set and prize raffles. Because this event starts at 9:30 PM at an arcade bar that becomes 21+ in the evening, this is strictly an outing for parents, older teens, or a night out with friends.
