Durham Farmers' Market, at 501 Foster Street in Durham, is Durham's largest farmers' market. It's open Saturdays all year, and also Wednesdays from mid-April to mid-October. April to November: Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. December to March: Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. April 15 to October 15: Wednesdays, 3 to 6 p.m. Everything sold at the Durham Farmers' Market comes from no more than 70 miles away. Durham Farmers' Market accepts SNAP/EBT. Double Bucks Thanks to grant partners, the Market offers Double Bucks to SNAP customers. This means that if a SNAP customer spends $10, they will receive $20 worth of tokens to spend on fresh produce. At this time they are able to match any amount, but check here for any changes. They also offer a cash matching program for SNAP recipients who are out of benefits for the month, WIC clients and community members who live in public housing. To receive this benefit, simply bring cash to the info table and they’ll double the amount with tokens. As an example, $10 in cash equals $20 in tokens.
