Disc Golf Putting League

The Disc Golf Putting League is a weekly, double-elimination doubles tournament held in the outdoor beer garden at The Glass Jug Beer Lab in Durham. Local players organize the casual competition on a newly installed, permanent nine-basket course. Registration opens on-site at 6:00 PM, and tournament play begins at 6:30 PM. While spectating is free, participating in the tournament costs six dollars per person. You will need to bring three of your own putters, though the venue does have loaner discs available if your teenagers want to try the sport for the first time. The brewery offers five-dollar pint specials on select draft beers during the event. This gathering offers a relaxed way to transition into the school week. The outdoor garden provides plenty of space to sit, making it an easy evening outing for parents who want to socialize while older kids practice their throwing skills.
