Join for a safe, supportive conversation on death, dying, and all that surrounds these deeply meaningful topics. Differing views, beliefs, questions, and curiosities are welcomed! Learn more about death cafes. Refreshments will be provided.
Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion about mortality with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a supportive, open forum where community members can share their thoughts, questions, and personal philosophies about end-of-life topics in a relaxed setting. If you plan to attend, note that this event is designed for adults and mature teens rather than young children. It takes place in the Southwest Meeting Room, which is free to attend and includes complimentary refreshments. Parking at the Southwest Regional Library is free and convenient, with a large surface lot right outside the main entrance. Taking time for these deeper conversations can be incredibly grounding. It is a thoughtful way to connect with neighbors, clear your mind, and gain new perspectives before starting a busy week.
