Get artsy crafty over a craft beer at our new Craft Club! Bring your own craft to do alongside others - whether it's knitting, sewing, coloring, painting, whatever! Show off what you're working on and learn from the skills of others as you sip cocktails, brews, wine, THC beverages, and more! And bonus - every week they're also hosting a craft swap! Are you a serial hobbyist? Do you have a silly excess of scraps and leftover supplies from discarded crafty projects? How about that pile of things you actually did finish, but that you can’t possibly use all of? Bring the excess items you’ve made and your spare supplies to trade! Participants will be able to drop their contributions on a reserved table, and everyone can shop the stash. It will operate on an honor system where everyone is encouraged to take roughly the same value of things they brought. So grab a drink, get crafty, and plan to hang out for a while to see who all stops by and what type of goods come through the swap.

Craft Club & Supply Swap is a weekly social gathering at Glass Jug Beer Lab in Durham where makers can work on projects together and trade extra materials. It is a casual, self-directed meetup designed for anyone who wants to clear out their art closets or learn a new skill from a neighbor. To participate in the swap, bring your leftover yarn, fabric scraps, or unused paint to the designated table, then browse what others have left. The swap runs on an honor system, so plan to take home roughly the same value of supplies that you brought. While the venue serves alcohol, the space is open to all ages, making it a relaxed spot for teens and older kids who enjoy independent crafting. This is a smart addition to your weekly calendar because it costs nothing to attend, helps you declutter your home art space, and connects you with other local makers. Street parking is available along Foster Street, and the venue is steps away from the Durham Central Park playground if younger siblings need a run-around break.
