Are you looking for a break? Need something to calm down your mind and pass time? Join us in the Makerlab for an evening of coloring! Unwind with multiple coloring pages, soothing music, and a space to decompress.
Coloring Corner is a free community gathering at the Durham Main Library focused on relaxation through creative coloring. The library provides a quiet space, soothing background music, and a variety of coloring sheets to help visitors clear their minds and relax. This event takes place in the MakerLab on the second floor of the Main Library in downtown Durham. It is best suited for adults, teens, and older children who can sit quietly and focus on coloring. There is no cost to attend, and all coloring supplies are provided, so you do not need to bring anything with you. Parking is available in the library parking deck, which is free for the first two hours. While this is a Wednesday evening event rather than a weekend activity, it serves as a perfect mid-week reset. It gives your school-aged children a quiet transition before the bedtime routine and offers parents a rare, quiet moment to sit and create without any cleanup afterward.
