Duke Homestead State Historic Site, 2828 Duke Homestead Road, Durham, North Carolina, is hosting Christmas by Candlelight on Friday, December 4, and Friday, December 11, 2026, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets will be available on November 3, 2026. Tickets are $12 per person (plus taxes and fees) and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Tickets are free for ages 3 and under. Celebrate an old-fashioned traditional Victorian Christmas with the Duke family in 1870, with evening candlelight tours conducted by costumed interpreters. Enjoy: Costumed interpreters Music Dancing Holiday cookies Tours will depart from the Visitor Center every 10 minutes. Tickets are for specific tour times. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Each tour is limited to 20 people total.
