ChapBoro Book Crawl! (Oct 10, 2026)

What is ChapBoro Book Crawl!? This community event invites readers to visit five independent bookstores across Chapel Hill and Carrboro to collect punch-card stamps with their purchases for a chance to win raffle prizes. What to Know: The event runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though individual shop hours vary. Participating spots include Golden Fig Books, Epilogue, Peel Gallery, Flyleaf Books, and Red Band Books. Admission is free, but you will need to buy a book or item at each stop to get your card stamped. This activity is best suited for school-aged children and teens who enjoy picking out their own reading material. This is a smart weekend pick because it turns a standard errand into a game for kids. You can grab a hot chocolate at Epilogue, let your kids browse the shelves at Golden Fig, and check off your weekend reading list all in one afternoon.
