Calling all musicians, poets, comedians, storytellers, and lovers of live local art, Carrboro Open Mic is calling to you! Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time or you’re a seasoned performer, this is a welcoming and supportive space to share your voice and connect with the community. All art forms welcome: music, poetry, comedy, spoken word, storytelling & moreFriendly, inclusive vibesSupportive audience and creative energyCome perform or just come listen Our ever-talented and charismatic host, John Pardue sets the tone with a warm and welcoming energy for all newcomers. How It Works Sign-ups start at 7:30pm Performances are from 8pm-12am Slots are 10 minutes each First come, first served Drink specials available! We encourage all of our participants and audience members alike to give some love to our neighbors, Steel String Brewery across the street, who host open mic from 6pm-11pm on Mondays as well!
