Presented as part of the Carolina Theatre of Durham’s free Centennial programming, Quebec’s dazzling Cirque Kikasse rolls into the Triangle with SANTÉ!—an exuberant outdoor production where high-flying acrobatics, physical comedy, and infectious energy unfold atop a transformed food truck. As the performers prepare their extraordinary “terrace” for service, ordinary tables and chairs become the foundation for a breathtaking 35-foot balancing act. Cleanup turns into trampoline-powered comedy. Popcorn showers the crowd. With remarkable skill and playful imagination, Cirque Kikasse transforms an everyday setting into a feast for the senses—thrilling seasoned circus fans while delighting the inner child in us all. In celebration of its 100th anniversary, the Carolina Theatre is taking the show beyond its historic walls and into communities throughout Durham, Hillsborough, and Pittsboro.
