Read any good books lately? Bring your own book to the library, share what you've been enjoying and discover what your community is reading. Whether it's a novel, nonfiction tome, comic book, newspaper, nutrition label, or car manual, we're excited to read with you!
B.Y.O.Book is an informal community gathering where readers share their current favorite titles and get recommendations from neighbors. Hosted at the Northeast Regional Library, this event welcomes any reading material, from novels and nonfiction to magazines and graphic novels. This free program is best suited for adults and teens, though parents can easily take turns browsing the library shelves with younger children during the session. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you only need to bring whatever you are currently reading. No registration is required, so you can simply show up and join the conversation. It is a relaxed weekday morning outing that lets you step out of the house, chat with fellow book lovers, and leave with a fresh list of library holds to request for your next visit.
