This course will be held on two consecutive days starting with the date and time posted. This beginner level class takes our woodshop basics and turns them into a small keepsake box, perfect as a gift or to hold all your odds and ends. Most larger scale woodworking projects such as cabinets, drawers, and other similar pieces start with the techniques used to make a box. On the first day of class we will discuss the design, process the wood, and assemble the box. The second day will cover finishing techniques, the lid of the box, and various ways to decorate the project. Participants without table saw experience need to take our woodshop intro course before the box course.
