Using Anna LaQuawn Hinton's <em>Refusing to Be Made Whole: Disability in Black Women's Writing</em> as a guide, participants will engage in thoughtful discussion about the ways disabled voices have been represented, overlooked, and reclaimed in literature. In recognition of Disability Pride Month, this program invites readers to examine storytelling as a powerful tool for visibility, advocacy, and social change.</p> <p>Kaitlan C. Farrior is an author, playwright, and creative consultant whose work centers on storytelling, identity, and representation. Through literary programming and community conversations, she uses books as a gateway to explore complex social issues and amplify diverse voices. As founder of Voice & Vision LLC, she is passionate about creating spaces where readers can engage critically with literature and its impact on our understanding of the world.</p>
