Beginner Spanish Language and Culture for Folks Over Fifty is an introductory educational program at the North Regional Library in Durham focused on basic Spanish speaking skills and cultural traditions. To attend this session, you must register in advance by emailing dpeterson@dconc.gov. The class is led by Oma, an instructor with over ten years of teaching experience, and covers the music, dance, and geography of Spain and Latin America. While the program is designed with older adults in mind, it is open to all participants and costs nothing to attend. This is a wonderful Friday afternoon option for local residents looking to expand their horizons, pick up a new skill, and connect with others in the community.
