Beginner Spanish Language and Culture for Folks Over Fifty is an introductory class at the North Regional Library in Durham that covers basic Spanish conversation alongside the music, dance, and geography of Spain and Latin America. If you want to attend, you must register in advance by emailing dpeterson@dconc.gov. The session is led by Oma, an instructor with over ten years of teaching experience. While the class is designed for adults over fifty, the program is open to anyone who wants to join. There is no cost to attend. This weekday class is a wonderful opportunity to step out of your daily routine, meet other local residents, and start learning a new language in a supportive community space.
