Baby Storytime is a structured, thirty-minute program at the Oberlin Regional Library designed to introduce infants to language through books, songs, and movement. It provides a calm environment where caregivers can interact directly with their babies through guided developmental activities. This program is designed specifically for infants from birth up to the crawling stage. Admission is free, but space inside the room is limited. To secure a spot, you must pick up a physical ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 10:30 AM on the morning of the event. The library has a dedicated parking lot, and you will want to leave your stroller in the car or lobby to keep the room clear for floor play. While scheduled for a Monday morning, this event is an excellent way to kick off your week with a purposeful outing. It offers a low-pressure environment to help your baby socialize and gives you a chance to meet other parents in the Raleigh community.
