Baby Bookworms is a free, interactive lapsit storytime designed for infants and their caregivers at the East Regional Library in Durham. This morning session focuses on early literacy through simple stories, rhymes, and music that you can easily replicate at home. This program is designed specifically for newborns up to beginning walkers. Because it is a true lapsit class, older toddlers might get restless, so it is best to leave active walkers with another caregiver if possible. Admission is entirely free, and registration is not required. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you can easily park strollers in the lobby before heading into the children's programming room.
