Crowder County Park, 4709 Ten Ten Road, Apex, is located on 33 acres of landscaped grounds and hardwood forests. Amenities include three playgrounds, three picnic shelters, a sand volleyball court, playfield, walking trails, an outdoor amphitheater and a 3-acre pond with a boardwalk and observation deck. Crowder County Park hosts many family events. Register for programs here. Space is limited for all programs, and might be filled up when you read this. Join a park naturalist and study what makes these species "invasive," how they arrived in our area, and how to identify and treat a variety of invasives. Please bring a water bottle and closed-toe shoes, as part of this program will be a walk outdoors. For ages 10+. Meet at the Cardinal Shelter, the first shelter on your right near the upper parking lot.
