Please join Ms. Donielle's storytime where everyone will learn their ABCs through songs and storytelling! There will also be felt pieces, music, movement, and more! During each session, we will all practice sounding out a letter along with words that begin with that letter. This program is for children (0-5 years) and their caregivers. Registration is appreciated.
Alphabet Storytime with Ms. Donielle is a weekly early literacy program at the South Regional Library in Durham that teaches the alphabet through interactive storytelling and music. Children practice sounding out letters, singing songs, and participating in movement activities designed to build pre-reading skills. This program is designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers up to age five along with their parents or caregivers. Admission is entirely free, and while registration is appreciated to help the staff prepare, walk-ins are welcome. The South Regional Library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you do not need to bring any special supplies to participate. It is a reliable, low-stress weekday morning outing that gets your little ones moving and learning. The structured yet gentle format is perfect for burning off some morning energy while sneaking in some early educational development.
