All Onyx World on Oct. 30 — free festival by Jooselord, honoring son, Onyx

Durham rapper Jooselord is honoring his 5 year old son, Onyx, who passed away from brain cancer in March, with a free music festival, All Onyx World. All Onyx World will feature 30+ artists performing at multiple venues around Durham, as well as activations around the city. It takes place October 30, 2026. Tentative time is 3:45 to 8 p.m., but it varies by venue. For updates and the schedule, when released, follow @jooselord on Instagram. Free wristbands are available here. This festival is a community celebration. All Onyx World is free to attend and open to all ages. Proceeds and partner support go toward the Grief Museum, family programming, artist fees, and Onyx Is Hope Foundation. We will update with the schedule and other details when announced.
