In this new theatrical solo show, Shari steps outside traditional stand-up to blend comedy, storytelling, and performance as she explores family, identity, ambition, and what happens when the life you’re “supposed” to live doesn’t quite fit. From growing up in the Bronx in a Guatemalan family to chasing a career in comedy and navigating the beautifully complicated people and choices that shaped her, Shari looks back at the moments that taught her how to find her own voice, even when it meant going against the grain. This performance is an early workshop of a developing solo show, which means the material is still being shaped, tested, cut, rewritten, and occasionally held together by pure delusion. This isn’t Shari’s traditional stand-up show. It’s an early look at something entirely new. Come see it before she figures out what she’s doing.
