Registration required! Register below. The Durham Bicycle Cooperative wants to empower people to not only repair their bicycles but keep them in safe working condition. In this free session, you'll learn the ABCs of bicycle safety: Air, Brakes, and Chain. Air: It's important to keep your tires properly inflated, know how to change a tube in case you get a flat, and to check tires regularly for wear. Brakes: It's important that your brakes are in good condition, properly adjusted, brake well, and that you know how to do minor adjustments that don't require any tools. Chain: The chain drives the whole bike, so it's important to check it for wear, and keep it shifting well. If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact us at Maker_STEAM@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least 2 business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!
